Recent research from the Research University in Southampton, England has proven Copper Covers can kill /Inactive a 550 viral particles per cm2 sample of SARS CoV 2 within 1 minute.
The test compared the effectiveness of Copper coated 316 stainless steel against normal 316 Stainless Steel surfaces in killing/Inactivating Covid-19.
550 viral particles per cm2 is the equivalent to a standard hand transfer of Covid-19 and 5500 viral particles per cm2 is the equivalent of a droplet of moisture containing Covid-19 The results are as follows.

Copper alloys significantly reduced concentrations of bacteria on frequently encountered components, sustaining levels prescribed upon completion of terminal cleaning. The average and median of bacteria recovered from frequently touched components from occupied rooms from Grinnell Regional Medical Center once weekly for a period of 1 year are reported. The red line indicates the 250 CFU/100 cm2 threshold concentration recommended for at-risk components immediately upon completion of terminal cleaning. The copper bars represent the mean concentrations of the copper alloy components and surfaces sampled (n = 410). Over 7 million people are affected globally by healthcare associated infections each year – MRSA, E-Coli, Coronavirus to name a few. 37,000 people die due to these infections annually in Europe and over 100,000 in the US. 80% of all infections are spread by touch and one contaminated hand will go on to contaminate at least 7 other touch surfaces on average.
